Okay, the wood thing was entirely not my fault. That wood would have lasted me and Larissa several camping trips. What I brought was about $10 worth, so we must have gone through about $20 with our pickings added. It's just funny how Conrad always packs in as much as will fit into the pit. :) I always throw in one log, and wait till that is almost gone! I remember saying "we should conserve a bit" as we were leaving, and he said "oh, okay" and was ready to throw in a third large piece all in one swoop! :) :) :)

Annnyway, yes, the search for wood was fun. Even if I did fall into the fire pit of another campsite. :) Oh yeah, and thanks for the compliments on my photography.

I like the pic of the ladybug... good photography brother. I can't wait myself to make it out to St. Ambrosie... it was really pretty, minus the bitting flies. This year we'll be buying a huge tent and hopefully some other camp gear to make it a little less stressfull. We'll have to coordiate a trip out together again, assuming your willing to put yourself through that again. :) More wood this time though... although it was kinda fun to be treasure hunting for reinforcment in the middle of the night.
