Word Press is acting up. The last entry will not format the way I want it to. Word Press changes my HTML, and still screws up the final display. The footer of the page is right aligned for some reason. I understand if that was happening on a custom skin, but the default? Looks to me as if some code still needs to be refined in Word Press.

I am once again looking at alternatives, Blogger to be more specific. I’ve spent 2 hours last night trying to fix things in Word Press, and am not impressed. I always liked blogger, but I hate the centralised controls. I want to download the whole darn thing to my side and be able to administer it without ever going to the Blogger site. To my knowledge that is not possible which is why I still have not made the leap. I need to look around some more for other alternatives before I try that route again.

The photos from the previous blog entry were not accepted at sxc.hu, which made last night’s defeat that much more bitter. It seems I am once again at that “Nothing Works” stage that pays me a visit a few times a year. Everything I touch falls apart and just when you think nothing else could break down, a new problem appears out of nowhere taunting me some more. Today my PC has joined the chorus by leaving my keyboard stuck in another language on top of all the other existing problems. If I was a religious person this is where I’d be talking about god testing me.

As always, in the end things will work. Hopefully that will be achieved before I write my own blogging application, reformat the hard drive on my PC, and tell sxc.hu to bite me because I am starting my own photo website. Time – and this blog – will tell. For now I am left with a heap of work, a broken PC, and a desire to kick some ass in FarCry or Call of Duty 2.
