And no Martin, there was no anger :) (not at the time of writing anyway) - only exasperation, frustration, and amazement at the general dysfunction of the general population, and in this case the business sector specifically.

Well, if just one enjoys the rant, then maybe the day’s events came to something positive at last.

The title of entry is that of a YouTube video which prompted the maker into a 10 minute follow-up rant - in a quiet, exasperated voice that gives the sense someone is sleeping in the room - because few got the original…

I’m sure the redheads out there are offended at having been left off your list of Chosen Ones… :)

“Look, even if there is a God, we have no way of knowing what He might want.” I take your point. However, seeing as there is a multitude of potential gods out there, a more accurate statement may be “even if there is a God, we have no way of knowing *who* He is” - not just what he (or she) wants. (Of course, expanding one’s argument to include the full spectrum of beliefs would just make one’s head explode, so I understand your limiting your arguments to one deity at a time.)

Besides, the horrid grammar at the very beginning of the article, from what I can only assume is the Old Testament, is threatening to make *my* head explode… :)

Actually, on a related note, wouldn’t it be wonderful if email services came equipped not only with a spam filter, but an idiocy filter as well? Of course the definition of what should be considered to be idiotic would differ… but I’m sure there is some general consensus to be found.

On the other hand, it would likely mean some very empty inboxes around the world…

To me “selling out” is doing something just for the money. And while it is true that they will gain a new audience with the commercial, it’s got to be the one of the crappier ways of getting publicity. Like I said, I just hope the song is in the game, and that I don’t hate it by the 1000th time I’ve seen it advertised.

I used to like Blondie’s “I’m Gonna Getcha”, and now Swiffer has buried it under so much dirt nothing will ever let me enjoy it again…

BTW, glad you are able to enjoy the song. A lot of their stuff is like a party in a song, totally insane and eye opening in terms of simply enjoying life.
